Sexual Health Clinic

The Gens Hellquist Queer Sexual Health Clinic @ OUTSaskatoon

Want to find out what your HIV status is? Want to see if you have any other Sexually Transmitted Blood Borne Infections (STBBIs)? Is it time for you to get a pap test done? Then the Gens Hellquist Queer Sexual Health Clinic is the place for you! Come to OUTSaskatoon on Thursday evenings from 5:00pm to 8:00pm for a full range of tests for HIV, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, and other STBBIs in a queer and trans friendly environment.

Our clinic started in April of 2012, in partnership with Sexual Health  Centre Saskatoon and the Saskatoon Health Region. It was  Saskatchewan's first clinic geared towards the sexual health of  gay,  bisexual, and men who have sex with men (MSM). However,  since  its inception, the clinic has had an open door policy to people  of all  sexualities and gender identities. In 2013, we expanded our  services to include lesbian & trans individuals and began offering pap tests in addition to our extensive STBBI testing services.

The Queer Sexual Health Clinic provides rapid HIV testing which has results in two minutes. This means that you don't have to wait  and worry for two weeks about your test results. It is also a safe  and inclusive space for all queer and trans people, with qualified nurses on site to answer any of your sexual health related questions.

OUTSaskatoon believes that sexual health is as important as physical, mental, and spiritual health. Take a healthy step toward your own well-being by getting tested today!
