The 3rd Annual OUT on the Land Camp will be taking place August 9th - 12th at Pine River, Saskatchewan.
This is an intergenerational cultural camp for Two Spirit, Queer, and Transgender urban and Northern peoples with traditional Indigenous Knowledge Keepers.
The intent of this camp is to create safe spaces, ceremonies, and cultural teachings in an identity affirming environment. Two Spirit Elders and Elders who are Allies to the LGBTQ2S community will provide instruction and teachings for skill development, creative expression, spiritual growth, and healing on the land. This connection to the land, to our relatives, and our ceremonies is what puts the Spirit in Two Spirit.
There is a $25.00 fee to attend which will be reimbursed at the end of camp. Transportation from Saskatoon, all meals, and tools for traditional teachings will be provided. If the upfront fee is a hindrance, please contact Jack - firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange alternative means.
