We invite you to donate to OUTSaskatoon, a 2SLGBTQ+ Saskatoon not for profit registered charity. OUTSaskatoon provides peer support services, counselling services, queer-specific education, outreach, social programming, events, and community referrals. OUTSaskatoon also operates Pride Home, a 2SLGBTQ+ youth home ages 18-25.

We believe in a bolder, braver, and safer future for all. We strive towards this by providing support services, housing, and education through a trauma informed, culturally informed, equity seeking, client-centred, and community-based approach.

All donations go directly back into the community, and we thank you in advance for supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community of Saskatoon and area.

OUTSaskatoon Donor Bill of Rights

Philanthropy is based on voluntary action for common good. It is tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To ensure that donors to OUTSaskatoon have full confidence in OUTSaskatoon and its appeals, the following donors' rights are recognized. All Donors have the following rights to:

1. Be clear about OUTSaskatoon’s mission and how we intend to spend their donations.

2. Know that their donation will be used for the purpose for which it was given.

3. Trust that information about their donation will remain confidential to OUTSaskatoon to

the extent provided by law.

4. Be assured that their donation will be banked and spent within the fiscal year.

5. Receive appropriate thanks and recognition.

6. Receive, upon request, all published financial statements.

7. Know that complaints are taken seriously, handled promptly and responses are given

within one week.

8. Seek accurate professional advice on tax efficient giving methods.

9. Receive prompt and accurate answers to questions.

10. Be provided with reports on the way that funds have been spent.

11. Be treated professionally and with respect during fundraising campaigns.

12. Choose to be excluded from any future solicitations.

13. Expect that there is a fair and proper balance between the interests of donors and the

aims and objectives of OUTSaskatoon.

14. Know whether an individual soliciting funds is a volunteer, an employee, or other.

15. Have the right to remain anonymous.

16. Know that donor names will never be sold.

17. Request that their name not be exchanged for fundraising purposes.
