Paris of the Prairies is Burning – OUTSaskatoon’s extravagant tribute to the QPOC and Trans icons of ball culture. This gala event is rooted in both necessity and defiance of the ongoing hardships of QPOC and Trans folks as well as reclamation of this culture. OUTSaskatoon’s GLITTER Gala celebrates 32 years of support, education, safety, and community for 2SLGBTQ people in Saskatoon and surrounding area. All funds raised directly support OUTSaskatoon’s core programming. Join us for a night of show-stopping entertainment, a custom three-course meal and recognition of the strengths and contributions of Saskatoon’s 2SLGBT community through the RBC OUTShine Awards. Hosted at the Marquis Hall (U of S Campus), the gala will include a mix of performances including dance, drag, voguing, modeling and performance art. Tickets are $150 per ticket or $850 per table of 6. This year’s Glitter Gala will return to an in person event. To help ensure everyone’s safety we have made the following decisions. We have reduced the overall capacity of the event by 30% to help facilitate social distancing. Proof of vaccination will be required to attend, a negative PCR test will not be accepted in place of proof of vaccination. Masking will be mandatory when not seated.
