OUT on the Land
CULTURE CAMP 2023
The 7th Annual OUT on the Land Camp will be taking place August 18 to 21, 2023 near Duck Lake, Saskatchewan.
This intergenerational culture camp for Two Spirit, IndigiQueer, Trans, and Queer people with traditional Indigenous Knowledge Keepers that celebrates and revitalizes cultural and Two Spirit teachings and roles in an identity affirming environment.
Two Spirit Elders and cultural leaders who are Allies to the 2SLGBTQ community, and Knowledge Keepers will provide instruction and teachings for skill development, creative expression, spiritual growth, and healing on the land.
The intent of this camp is to create affirming spaces, ceremonies, and cultural teachings in an identity celebrating environment to build up mental wellness, physical wellbeing, and encourage a strong sense of self-harmony.
All food provided.
There are some camping supplies that can be provided to campers who are in need upon request but we cannot guarantee that all needs can be met.
Transportation provided to the best of our ability. We will make every effort to coordinate transportation and carpooling options but we cannot guarantee that all needs can be met.
