Families in Transition: A Resource Guide for Parents of Trans Youth

This is big news, and you are likely feeling some of the common feelings parents initially report: shock, disbelief, fear, grief, anger, or shame. You might feel like your world has been turned upside down. You might feel very alone. You might have a lot of questions. That’s why we wrote this guide

The Q List

The Q List is OUTSaskatoon's vast and varied referral list to direct you to businesses, organizations, professionals, and healthcare providers that are safe and supportive of  lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two spirit, intersex, and queer people. All listed individuals and organizations have reported that they are knowledgeable of gender and sexual diversity, are comfortable working with LGBT2IQ+ people, and are open to expanding their client and coworker base to the queer community.

Rainbow Coffee

Rainbow Coffee is a queer youth group run by OUTSaskatoon's Youth & Education Coordinator. Rainbow Coffee is a city-wide network of queer youth who are looking for community and friendship. It's a great place for your child to find support, resources, and to meet other youth who are going through similar challenges.
