Eli Noonan, Registered Midwife
Eli Noonan (they/them pronouns) provides midwifery care in Saskatoon. They received a Bachelor in Health Sciences in Midwifery from McMaster University. Their passion is ensuring that 2SLGBTQ people have access to comprehensive reproductive care. Registered Midwives are licensed and registered health care professionals who provide primary care to low-risk clients and their babies throughout pregnancy, birth, and for six weeks postpartum. Midwives order routine blood tests, ultrasounds, and can prescribe medications. We value informed choice, continuity of care, and choice of birth place for pregnant individuals. Midwives support pregnancy and birth as a normal physiological event, supporting clients and their families through the physical and emotional experiences of pregnancy and childbirth. Midwives are integrated into the provincial health care system and work with doctors, nurses, and health professionals when needed to provide appropriate and holistic care. You do not need a referral to access midwifery care. Our services are funded by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. In Saskatoon, our clinic is located in Saskatoon City Hospital. Clients choose to deliver their babies at either Jim Pattison Children's Hospital or at home.
