Dawn Bear-Demkiw (they/them), comes from Flying Dust First Nations in Treaty 6, but has called Saskatoon home for many years. They have mainly worked in the frontline of issues such as homelessness, harm reduction, and MMIWG2S+- and have enjoyed it in every capacity! They live by both formal education and lived experience, and are proud to represent their 2-Spirit community. Their downtime consists of enjoying nature, loving up their two cats, and taking long drives. Fun fact: they have their (private) pilot’s license!
