Kristin Enns-Kavanagh is the Executive Director of the Saskatchewan History & Folklore Society, where she leads initiatives that amplify community voices and preserve diverse histories. Through her work, she has collaborated on projects such as Queer Seniors of Saskatchewan: Stories of Resilience (published March 2025), deepening her awareness of queer histories and the importance of inclusive storytelling. Kristin has engaged with OUTSaskatoon through training and programming and attending summer events. In March 2025, she joined OUTSaskatoon’s Governance & Policy Committee, contributing to bylaw revisions and supporting policy development. She is committed to strengthening governance and community engagement as part of her board service. Kristin brings extensive leadership and governance experience, having served as Board Chair of Heritage Saskatchewan during its formative years, past-president , and interim chair during incorporation. She also served on the SaskCulture Board and chaired executive search and governance committees. Her skills in policy governance, community engagement, and grant writing equip her to support strong organizational foundations. She is passionate about inclusive leadership, ensuring all voices are heard at the table, and building resilient structures that allow queer communities to thrive for generations to come.
